Tradition & modernity
Multicultural, cosmopolitan, and wedged in between tradition and modernity. That’s how we best like to describe the surprising Luxembourg city, the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The country might be tiny, but its capital has everything to offer you might expect in a grand and vibrant city. Its lively, trendy and there is simply so much to discover …
Our recommended bucket list:
- Did someone say cheese? The Postkutsch restaurant is known for its infamous cheese cart with over 50 different kinds of cheese. The restaurant has a lot more to offer, but we must admit it’s the cheese that’s the way to our heart.
- Make it easy on yourself. Luxembourg isn’t that big, so with a Luxembourg Card you can immediately enjoy free access to more than 60 cultural must-sees.
- Get out of the city, and into your hiking boots. Luxembourg’s nature is incredible. On just a quick 30-minute ride from the city, you’ll find the starting point for the Mullerthaltrail, which takes you through an area known as ‘Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland’. Ready. Set. Hike.
